Swine flu and the NHS in UK

Media in UK has done little to lessen the panic that swine flu has created amongst the population of the country. The uncertain future that was presented by the media did little to contain the apprehension that most people in UK suffered from this dreadful spread of Swine Flu. The media rather escalated the panic to higher levels that led to doctors and the health care system of the country coming under immense pressure. The WHO however on its own has tried to contain the spread of panic amongst people by educative public announcements about the disease and its spread.
With numbers showing up every day there is reason for the people to panic, however there is also the fact that people all over UK who have been infected with this virus have also made full recovery from the disease. The British health system on its part has been spreading the message of how to contain the disease and how to stop its spread. Sneezing into a tissue and then disposing the tissue in a safe manner is what the government health machinery propagating to check the spread of the virus and the disease. Local doctors, for example in the department of palliative care Daventry, have to be consulted if one feels that the virus has entered the individual. There is also the message by the health officials which states that by maintaining good hygiene there is high possibility of keeping the virus at bay.
The NHS in UK which is known for its efficiency and high popularity is doing its level best and unplugged all procedural restriction in order to contain this virus and disease. Cooperation from the public is essential to win this battle against the virus and have a swine flu free UK.
Time would state how well the UK NHS functioned at this critical juncture.
